CBC ONYX Short Track Speed Skating Boot
The CBC ONYX is an affordable, entry-level short track boot designed specifically for growing kids, beginners, and recreational skaters (size 42 or smaller). If you’re new to short track or a parent looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly boot that helps your child progress without discomfort, the ONYX is the perfect choice.
Please note: The ONYX is less stiff than our Element and Genesis models and does not offer the same level of support. It is designed for low training impact. If you are a competitive skater training 3 or more days per week, or if you wear a boot size 43 or larger, we recommend our ELEMENT or GENESIS models instead.
All ONYX boots are built on CBC’s Wide Last, offering a comfortable fit. CBC’s proprietary lasts were developed using data from over 10 years of custom speed skate scans — resulting in one of the best average fits available on the market today.
